Evan Spiegel, a co-founder of Snap Inc. and developer of the popular social media site Snapchat, grew his small student project into a multibillion-dollar corporation.
According to Spiegel, his ‘99 per cent law’, is the key to Snapchat’s growth.
Perhaps counterintuitively, this involves rejecting 99 per cent of suggestions and ideas!
In 2013, when Facebook bid $3 billion for Snapchat, he followed his favourite maxim. turning down the bid. Spiegel’s company is now valued at $20 billion! Google has also tried to snap up Snapchat, but Spiegel is sticking to his guns.
